I have always been fascinated by shaders since I discovered them. Seeing something like the great amount of detail that can be rendered with the addition of something as simple as a normal map is what sparked this fascination. The more I have learnt about shaders the more fascinated I have been with them. It's not the great details alone that interest me. With shaders I am able to greatly enhance the visual potential of my games, like with the outline shader used in my rocket delivery game. I have also been interested in creating art through shaders. You can find some of the resources I have used in my shader development journey below, as well as some cool looking shaders.
Gave @chiu_hans' infinity hole a try. This is just an ordinary cube with 6 faces! Procedural materials are prettttty neat (and super fun). Going to try and create an infinity mirror type cube next.#ue4 #UnrealEngine #vr #math pic.twitter.com/zGPmftlbub
